As the sacred days of Dhul Hijjah unfolded, so did a remarkable wave of generosity from our Penny Appeal USA family. Inspired by the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), thousands of donors gave their Qurbani to feed the hungry, uplift the forgotten, and spread joy in places where it’s needed most.
Thanks to your compassion and trust, Qurbani 2025 was successfully completed across 9 countries: India, Malawi, Pakistan, Palestine, Somalia, Syria, United States, Yemen, and Lebanon.
Together, we transformed the act of sacrifice into a lifeline—one share at a time.
More Than Meat: What Your Qurbani Delivered
For many of the families we served, this was their first time in months tasting fresh meat. In places like Palestine and Yemen, where war has stripped life of its basic comforts, your Qurbani was more than a meal—it was a sign of mercy. In rural villages across Pakistan, Malawi, and Somalia, it was a reminder that they are not forgotten. In refugee camps in Syria and Lebanon, it brought dignity and joy to families with nowhere else to turn.
One mother in Lebanon told us:
“This is the first time in months my children have eaten meat. May Allah reward you. We felt remembered.”
What Makes Qurbani at Penny Appeal USA Different?
We deliver where others cannot. Our teams work directly inside conflict zones like Palestine and Syria—ensuring your Qurbani reaches families in the hardest-to-access regions.
We support local economies. Animals are sourced locally in each region, helping boost small-scale farmers and sustain livelihoods.
We go beyond Eid. In select areas, we offered livestock to families through our Income Generation Qurbani model—giving families long-term sustainability through milk, breeding, and income.
We serve here at home, too. Qurbani was distributed in communities across the United States, because food insecurity doesn’t stop at borders.
Real Impact. Real Stories.
In Somalia, families displaced by drought shared Qurbani meat around communal fires. In Syria, children smiled as they helped their parents prepare their first Eid meal in months. In Lebanon, Syrian refugees and vulnerable families felt a sense of belonging once again.
And all of this was possible because you gave.
The Spirit of Dhul Hijjah Lives On
The legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) is one of sacrifice, trust, and obedience. This year, you honored that legacy in the most meaningful way—by uplifting others.
We pray that Allah accepts your Qurbani and multiplies your reward. And we thank you for making Penny Appeal USA your trusted partner in giving.
As one child in Palestine said:
“Thank you for making our Eid feel real.”
